Allowance request for paper presentation in academic events
Fill out the electronic form available at this link and send by e-mail, to the Secretariat of PPGETI, the following documents (duly completed and scanned*):
– Abstract of the work accepted for presentation;
– Confirmatory documents that certify the paper was accepted for presentation (e.g.: email from the event organizers);
– Event Program;
– Updated enrollment certificate.
*The allowance request must be made at least 30 (thirty) days before the date of the event and the granting of the aid is conditioned to the availability of Program funds.
Credits utilization request
Inform the PPGETI Secretariat, by e-mail, the number of credits to be used and send the following documents, duly completed and scanned*:
– Confirmatory documents that certify the credits that are being requested were concluded. (ex.: Academic transcript);
– Syllabus of the subjects whose credits are being requested*.
*Waived in case the subjects are part of the PPGETI curriculum.
Qualifying examination request
Master’s Qualifying Examination*
The student’s advisor must fill out the electronic form available at this link, and send to the PPGETI Secretariat, by e-mail, the following document:
– File with the work to be evaluated, in PDF format.
* The examination will be waived in case the student’s advisor sends confirmatory documents of publication or approval, with no claims and within the course, of at least one complete article in a scientific event listed in the Qualis database of CAPES, in the area of Engineering IV (“Engenharias IV”), of which the student is the first or second author. In case of unavailability of the Qualis database for scientific events, articles published in scientific events supported by national or international scientific society recognized in the area will be considered valid.
Doctoral Qualifying Examination*
The student’s advisor must fill out the electronic form available at this link, and send to the PPGETI Secretariat, by e-mail, the following document:
– File with the work to be evaluated, in PDF format.
* The examination will be waived in case the student’s advisor sends confirmatory documents of publication or approval, with no claims and within the course, of at least one complete article in a Journal included in the Qualis database of CAPES, in the area of Engineering IV (“Engenharias IV”) with A1, A2, B1 or B2 classification, of which the student is the first or second author.
Defenses Request
Master’s dissertation defense
The student’s advisor must fill out the electronic form available at this link, and send to the PPGETI Secretariat, by e-mail, the following documents, duly completed and scanned*:
– Confirmatory documents of publication or approval, with no claims and within the course, of at least one complete article in a scientific event listed in the Qualis database of CAPES, in the area of Engineering IV (“Engenharias IV”) of which the student is the first author;
– Updated Academic transcript;
– File with the dissertation to be evaluated, in PDF format.
Doctoral thesis defense
The student’s advisor must fill out the electronic form available at this link, and send to the PPGETI Secretariat, by e-mail, the following documents, duly completed and scanned*:
– Confirmatory documents of publication or approval, with no claims and within the course, of at least one complete article in a Journal included in the Qualis database of CAPES, in the area of Engineering IV (“Engenharias IV”) with A1, A2, B1 or B2 classification, of which the student is the first author;
– Updated Academic transcript;
– File with the thesis to be evaluated in PDF format.
* The date and time of the defense presentations will be set by the Coordination of the Program for at least 45 (forty-five) days from the defense request.
** In case of unavailability of the Qualis database for scientific events, articles published in scientific events supported by national or international scientific society recognized in the area will be considered valid.
Diploma request
Send, by email, to the PPGETI Secretariat, the following documents, duly completed and scanned:
– Undergraduate and Master’s Diplomas (this last one only for Doctoral diploma request);
– Identity Card;
– Clearance certificate of the UFC Library System*.
*To receive the Clearance certificate, the student must follow the procedures below:
1) Request the advisor to send, by email, to the PPGETI Secretariat the final version of the PDF file with the Thesis or Dissertation defended;
1.1) The final version must contain the catalographic card and must be in accordance with the UFC Normalization Guide for Academic Papers, under penalty of not being received.
2) Upload the file to TEDE, after receiving an email with login and password to access the system;
3) Confirm to the Secretariat, via e-mail, the upload completion;
4) Receive the Clearance Certificate at the Engineering Graduate Library.
