Laboratory of Teleinformatics – LATIN
Description: The Professors and students of LATIN work mainly on the following research, development and innovation topics: (i) Development of simulators and electronic games based on colored Petri Nets; (ii) Virtual learning environments and web-based Educational Technology; (iii) Similarity Analysis and Plagiarism Detection in Source Codes; (iv) Image Processing for Man-Machine interface; (v) Signal and image processing in soft core DSP/FPGAs; (vi) Analysis/Project on Integrated Soft-Error Tolerant Circuits; (vii) Microelectronics; (viii) Critical Embedded Systems for spatial applications; (ix) Intelligent Embedded Systems.
Team: The laboratory has multidisciplinary works in Computer Engineering, with the participation of four Professors of UFC, three of the DETI. It also has Graduate projects (PPGETI), introduction to scientific research and Undergraduate Course conclusion works (CGETI) associated with the research topics of interest of the Group.
