The Coordination of the Graduate Program in Teleinformatics Engineering at the Federal University of Ceará (PPGETI/UFC) announces the publication of the official results of the 2025 Quadrennial Evaluation conducted by CAPES (Brazil’s Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel), covering the 2021–2024 period. In this evaluation, the Program achieved Score 7, the highest rating awarded by CAPES, subsequently ratified by the Technical-Scientific Council for Higher Education (CTC-ES).

Score 7 recognizes the international level of excellence of the Graduate Program in Teleinformatics Engineering (PPGETI), highlighting the outstanding quality of its scientific output, the education of highly qualified human resources, its strong international engagement, and the academic and technological impact of the research developed, as well as the robustness of its academic and institutional management within the Engineering IV evaluation area.

This result consolidates PPGETI among the most distinguished graduate programs in Brazil, reflecting sustained efforts in strategic planning, academic commitment, and the integrated development of teaching, research, and innovation activities.

The PPGETI Coordination congratulates and extends its sincere appreciation to the entire academic community — faculty members, students, the administrative staff of the Program’s Secretariat, alumni, postdoctoral researchers, and institutional partners — whose collective dedication and excellence were fundamental to achieving this result. The Coordination also acknowledges the institutional support provided by the Department of Teleinformatics Engineering, the Center of Technology, and the Federal University of Ceará.

The highest rating reaffirms PPGETI’s commitment to academic excellence, scientific and technological innovation, the training of high-level researchers and professionals, and the expansion of the scientific, social, and strategic impact of its activities at both national and international levels.
