PPGETI Strategic Planning
PPGETI continuously reassesses its strategic planning, guided by internal self-evaluation involving all stakeholders: faculty, students, and alumni. At the beginning of the current four-year period, a strategic plan was developed with a focus on maintaining PPGETI as an internationally recognized program of excellence while also aiming to improve its evaluation score. As we conclude the 2021-2024 period, a new strategic plan has been formulated to guide actions for the next cycle. This plan was developed in alignment with the Institutional Development Plan (PDI) of the Federal University of Ceará (UFC).
The strategic planning carried out by PPGETI in 2024 was the result of several meetings held throughout the year, involving both faculty and students. It consists of 14 macro-actions, each aligned with a specific objective from UFC’s PDI and a CAPES evaluation criterion. Additionally, each action has a defined start and end date and is assigned to a responsible group (e.g., the coordinator, coordination board, concentration area representatives, program board, scholarship committee, etc.). This structure ensures continuous monitoring of actions in the short, medium, and long term.
